In Matthew 25:40, the Bible says, “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.” As an international Christian organisation, World Vision always strives to follow the example of Jesus Christ to serve the poor. Since arriving in Hong Kong to provide relief for typhoon-affected families in 1962, we have slowly transitioned into a fundraising office to gather the general public’s care and resources to support children, families and communities in need in Hong Kong and around the world. While we may not have all the strength in the world, your trust and support over the years have been motivating us to do our best to spread love and hope, so as to create a better future for children.

Looking back and thinking ahead, we are convinced that faith, hope and love still remain. Counting on everyone’s partnership, World Vision staff in Hong Kong and across the globe will continue to offer practical help and hope to children and families in need day after day.

While poverty, hunger and disasters may seem to never end, it does not mean that our work has been in vain. As Nobel Peace Prize winner Mother Teresa once said, “It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing ... Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” It is our desire that you would continue to spread hope with us by supporting the following humanitarian and development work.
