Pooling the donations of all sponsors, we survey the communities where sponsored children live to identify the root causes of poverty and particular needs of each community. We then map out and run a unique Area Programme alongside community members to improve children's growth environment and empower community members to be resilient, enabling them to become self-sustainable and be free from the poverty trap.
In some of the world’s most dangerous places, we have been providing practical assistance for children and families who lack protection. Donations will be used to support the work of World Vision in providing various forms of humanitarian aid, enabling children and refugees affected by conflict to survive, recover and build a future.
World Vision strives to be “first in” and “last out” in our response operations. When disaster strikes, World Vision responds immediately by providing emergency supplies, psychosocial support, etc., and stays behind to support the affected in rebuilding their lives.
Through partnerships with professional groups and partners, we are helping grass-roots parents meet their children’s growth and developmental needs, including the needs for nutrition and health, experiential learning, mental wellness and living environment, enhancing children’s long-term development and wellbeing.
